Chicken or Egg Situation

Ordered repeat prescription online, Been issued by doctor, Waited 4 days, Chemist say doctors not sent it so i have to ring doctors, Rang doctors they say they have sent it and i have to ring chemist, Chemist says not received so ring doctors again. Nothing sorted. Doing my bloody head in.

I pick a relatives repeat prescription up from the chemist and it was a fairly regular occurence. Extremely frustrating when the patient needs medication.
We changed chemists ( even though this meant a longer journey ) and touch wood, its never happened since in over 5 years.
